Thomy Mayo, original
Thomy mayo is very popular in Switzerland and with Swiss all over
the world.
We carry the traditional, mild version in the blue tube - it is
a synonym for gourmet.
The Thomy brand roots in Switzerland and its founder Fritz Thomi-Schaad.
In 1907 he introduced the first mustard into the Swiss market. In
the beginning it was sold in pots made of earthenware. The company
invented the today known tube back in 1930; the same year when the
“Thomy” brand was born. Due to the huge success of the
tube packaging it was soon introduced to other products as packaging
of choice. In 1951 the production of the Thomy Mayo started and
the same successful packaging was used. Since 1971 Thomy is part
of the Nestle group.
